While not legally required, chalet insurance is strongly recommended—and often required by holiday parks or lenders—to protect against fire, storm, theft, vandalism, and liability claims.
Our policy includes up to £100,000 buildings insurance and £20,000 contents insurance. It covers fire, flood, storm, theft, vandalism, accidental damage, and includes £2 million public liability as standard. You can also add optional legal expenses and loss of rent cover.
Yes. Every policy includes £2 million public liability cover to protect you if someone is injured or their property is damaged in connection with your chalet.
Our standard excess is £75 per claim. This means you pay the first £75 of any valid claim. Full details are outlined in your policy documents.
Yes. You’re covered up to £20,000 for contents like furniture, appliances, and personal possessions. Accidental damage and cover during transit are also included.
Yes. Your policy covers accidental loss or damage during transit within the UK—for example, when moving your chalet to a new pitch or location.

Yes. We can cover chalets used for personal holidays, holiday letting, or a mix of both. Just let us know your intended use during the quote process.
Your policy remains active even during periods of unoccupancy. However, conditions may apply—particularly in winter. Please review your policy wording or contact us for clarification.
Yes. Once payment is complete, your certificate and full policy documents are emailed to you instantly. These are accepted by most holiday parks as proof of cover.
You can update your policy details at any time. If you change your address, usage type, or location, just contact us and we’ll amend your documents accordingly.
Yes, we offer pro-rata refunds for unused time if you cancel and haven’t made a claim. Terms and conditions apply—please contact us to process the cancellation.
Yes. Fixed structures like decking, verandas, steps, or sheds can be included in your buildings cover. Just tell us at quote stage so we can reflect this in your policy.
Yes. Accidental damage is automatically included for both buildings and contents, protecting you from everyday mishaps such as spillages, breakages, or impact damage.
Yes. Park insurance usually only covers communal areas and the site operator’s liability. You’re still responsible for insuring your chalet, its contents, and your own liability as an owner.
Buildings insurance covers the structure of your chalet and fixed features like walls, roof, and decking. Common claims include storm damage to the roof, fire affecting the main structure, or vandalism resulting in broken windows or doors.
Contents insurance protects items inside your chalet. You might claim if thieves break in and steal electronics, or if a flood damages furniture, curtains, or kitchen appliances. It also covers your belongings during transit to a new pitch.
Public liability insurance covers injury or damage involving third parties. For example, if a guest trips on a loose step and is injured, or if a falling roof tile damages a neighbour’s car, you could be held liable. This cover helps pay compensation or legal costs.
Accidental damage to your chalet (buildings) might include hitting the side of the chalet with a vehicle, cracking a window during maintenance, or drilling through a pipe while doing DIY. These incidents are covered as standard.
Accidental damage to contents includes events like dropping a TV while moving it, spilling red wine on upholstery, or knocking over and breaking a lamp. These common mishaps are covered under our contents insurance.
