Yes. Park insurance generally covers communal areas and the operator's liability. You're still responsible for insuring your lodge, its contents, and personal liability.
Typical claims include storm damage to the roof, fire affecting the structure, or vandalism causing damage to doors and windows.
Contents claims may include theft of electronics, flooding damaging soft furnishings, or storm damage to kitchen appliances. Transit cover is also included.
If a guest trips on a loose step or if damage occurs to a neighbouring lodge due to a falling roof tile, public liability insurance can cover legal fees and compensation.
This might include reversing a vehicle into the lodge, drilling into a pipe by accident, or cracking a window during maintenance.
This includes dropping a TV, spilling liquids on a carpet, or accidentally smashing a glass cabinet. All are covered under contents accidental damage.
